From its inception as Ellicott City Assembly of God, this church has brought hope and life to its community for over 30 years. Pastors Richard and Carla Bradford felt called by God to plant a life-giving spirit-filled

Church in Ellicott City, MD. Sent and supported by Trinity Life Church in Lutherville, MD. In 1989, they started as a prayer group in their homes and it grew quickly. In 1994, they broke ground and built the building we are in today.

In 2003 Pastor Tedd and Kim Manning became the current Lead pastors and started a

new chapter of “Hope.” The church reflects the community, representing over 25 nationalities, and is known as a church for all people.

In November of 2019, the members voted to change our church name to Hope Assembly of God. We look forward to our new chapter of Hope for our church and community.
